This class is designed for students who have either been through the Beginning Watercolor levels I and II or have had enough experience in watercolor to paint independently from photos or sketches of their own.

Learn the art of Japanese crimp cloth: create a Shibori scarf.

Participants will create a 20x30 wall hanging/rug using techniques of design, layering fabric, cutting thru the fabric design, ragging edges and machine quilting. Participants choose from three provided designs, using a variety of beautiful batik fabrics and threads.

We will learn about different kinds of knitting needles, yarns, yarn needles, stitch holders, markers and place holders. We will talk about different knit stitches.
