Introduction to Knitting

We will learn about different kinds of knitting needles, yarns, yarn needles, stitch holders, markers and place holders. We will talk about different knit stitches. You will also receive many sources of knitting help, advice and patterns. We will learn the basic knit stitch by making a project bag. If time and interest allow, we will make a scarf or dishcloth.
