DESCRIPTION:Participants will make a 28×40 rag rug. Students will choose and buy their own fabric (or use rags they have collected). Students will learn to warp their loom\, cut the rag strips\, join rag strips\, and weave these to make a beautiful rag rug.

You will learn how to cut/nip glass\, lay out your desired design\, gluing\, grouting and finishing your project. As you will be working with adhesives and grout\, you AND your clothing will get messy so please wear something appropriate as well as closed toe shoes. INSTRUCTOR ASKS THAT YOU BRING YOUR PRE-SELECTED DESIGN TO YOUR 1st CLASS. All tools will be supplied for student use during class\, however should you wish to purchase your own prior to class\, please refer to the Notes below. This is a VERY popular class so be sure to sign up early!
