Step by step instructions will be given to teach you to warp and weave your project. Think stripes! You will design and execute a unique kitchen towel using a fiber that is part cotton\, part linen (cotolin) which is perfect for absorption and softness.

SUMMARY:Fly Tying for Beginners
DESCRIPTION:This course is for those with little or no experience in fly tying. We’ll start out learning the basics about the types of insects that inhabit trout waters\, the stages of their life cycles and various behaviors and how trout are attracted to feed on them. From this knowledge we will determine what insect patterns best imitate the naturals and we will learn to tie a variety of flies\, including streamers\, nymphs\, emergers and dries. We will learn about what materials work best for different applications and the qualities of these materials that make them effective at attracting fish. The selection we will learn to tie includes the wooly bugger\, gold ribbed hares ear\, pheasant tail\, elk hair caddis\, adams and last chance cripple.
